Some weddings are grand celebrations with hundreds of guests, while others are beautifully intimate, allowing every meaningful moment to take centre stage. This lovely Hong Kong couple chose to celebrate their marriage with a small civil ceremony at Wandsworth Town Hall in South West London, surrounded by just a handful of their closest family members and witnesses.
We were honoured to provide bridal hair and make-up, wedding photography, and wedding videography, allowing the couple to enjoy a seamless experience throughout their special day.
A Relaxed Wedding Morning
The day began at the bride’s family home in Wandsworth, where our professional bridal hair and make-up artist created an elegant hairstyle and soft, natural bridal make-up look to complement her timeless style.
One of the wonderful things about this wedding was how relaxed the morning felt. As the family home was only around a ten-minute walk from Wandsworth Town Hall, there was no need to rush between locations. The calm atmosphere allowed everyone to enjoy the excitement of the day while we documented those meaningful getting-ready moments.
An Intimate Civil Ceremony at Wandsworth Town Hall
Although we regularly photograph and film weddings lasting eight, ten, or even twelve hours, we genuinely enjoy intimate registry office and town hall weddings just as much.
Over the years, we have provided wedding photography, videography, and bridal hair and make-up services at many of the United Kingdom’s most iconic civic wedding venues, including Old Marylebone Town Hall, Chelsea Old Town Hall, Islington Town Hall, Hackney Town Hall, Manchester Town Hall, Manchester Central, Liverpool Town Hall, St George’s Hall Liverpool, Cardiff City Hall, Swansea Guildhall, Edinburgh City Chambers, Glasgow City Chambers, Birmingham Council House, Bristol City Hall, Belfast City Hall, and many more.
This particular celebration was wonderfully personal, with only five guests attending, including the couple’s witnesses. We spent approximately one hour documenting every important moment—from the anticipation before the ceremony, to the exchange of vows, the signing of the register, congratulations from family, and those joyful first moments as newlyweds.
Elegant Portraits Inside Wandsworth Town Hall
Following the ceremony, we explored the beautiful interior of Wandsworth Town Hall to create a series of romantic portraits and cinematic wedding video scenes.
The venue’s magnificent marble columns, sweeping staircase, and classic architectural details offered an elegant backdrop that perfectly suited the couple’s timeless style. These beautiful interiors created photographs that felt both sophisticated and full of emotion.
Golden Hour at King George’s Park
After the family departed for their wedding dinner celebration, we accompanied the newlyweds to nearby King George’s Park, just a short distance from the town hall.
The peaceful green surroundings provided a lovely contrast to the grand architecture of the ceremony venue. As luck would have it, we were treated to a spectacular London sunset. Warm golden light filled the park, while colourful evening skies created a magical atmosphere for both photography and videography.
These quiet moments together often become some of our couples’ favourite memories, not only because of the beautiful images created, but because they have a chance to pause, breathe, and simply enjoy being newly married.

當家人們前往晚宴聚餐後，我們與新人一同前往距離市政廳不遠的 King George’s Park 繼續拍攝。
公園內綠意盎然、環境寧靜，與市政廳的古典建築形成鮮明而美麗的對比。幸運的是，當天我們遇上了迷人的倫敦日落時刻，溫暖的金色陽光灑落在新人身上，色彩豐富的晚霞更為照片及影片增添夢幻而浪漫的氛圍。
